The design project for the Isabel sofa was inspired by the inherent eloquence of a handsomely versatile natural material like cowhide. Dense with content and expertly crafted, the Isabel sofa’s lines are gracefully uncluttered. The seat back comprises an enveloping metal shell entirely upholstered in cowhide that extends into the armrests which, by opening out slightly at the ends, create a delicate fold in the cowhide, reminiscent of the Japanese art of origami. The Isabel sofa is the essence of stylish refinement and can be crafted with cowhide and fabric or leather, in tone-on-tone or contrasting color, to reveal a more boldly decisive personality.
