The design concept for the sophisticated Isabel armchair was dictated by the inherent eloquence of a luxuriously versatile material like cowhide. Dense with content and expertly crafted, the Isabel armchair’s lines are clean and uncluttered. The seat back is comprised of an entirely cowhide-upholstered enveloping metal shell that extends into the armrests which, by opening out slightly at the ends, create a delicate fold in the cowhide, reminiscent of the Japanese art of origami. Symbol of stylish refinement, the Isabel armchair can reveal a more boldly-decisive personality when crafted in any of the types of cowhide and the fabrics or leathers from the Flexform collection, selected in tone-on-tone or contrasting colors.
