The exquisite materials employed set this family of coffee tables, side tables, consoles and ottomans in a class of its own. The aesthetic integrity of the design is enhanced by craftsmanship skills steeped in the cabinetmaking tradition. The elegantly-flared lines of the table base – made of solid Canaletto walnut or ash, available in an array of stains – lend the tables and console an exceptional air of visual lightness. The top can also be crafted in wood, for dramatic textural effect or, if marble is the material of choice, to create an interplay of contrasts. If the Giano coffee table finds its natural habitat in front of a sofa, the console can be used behind the sofa, as a convenient table-top surface, as a stand-alone piece in an entry, or to complete the living room decor.
